This article will guide you with the steps to get X (Twitter) on your PS5.
Steps to use X (Twitter) on PS5
X, formerly known as Twitter, is a social media platform that allows users to post and interact with short messages, called “tweets.” Founded in 2006 by Jack Dorsey, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams, Twitter became one of the most popular platforms for real-time news, networking, and social interaction.
In 2023, Elon Musk acquired the platform and rebranded it as “X,” signaling a shift in its focus and features. The rebrand aims to turn X into a broader “everything app,” incorporating messaging, social media, and financial services, moving away from its original microblogging model.
X (formerly Twitter) is available on the PS5 through its web browser. While there isn’t a dedicated app for X on the console, users can access the platform by opening the browser, logging into their X account, and browsing the site.
This allows PS5 owners to check tweets, engage with posts, and interact on the platform directly through the console’s internet capabilities.
