How to add Windows Media Player on Windows10 Laptop / PC?
Step1: Go to Settings on you PC/Laptop.
Step2: Click the Apps menu.
Step3: From the Apps &Features section, go to Optional Features section.
Step4: Click on Add a feature.
Step5: Navigate to Windows Media Player app.
Step6: Click on the App, download and install the Windows Media Player app.
Step7: Click the Back icon so that you get back to the Optional feature screen.

Step9: After installation, the Windows Media Player app appears on the list.
Step10: Locate the Windows Media Player App in the recently added section and click on it to launch the app.
How to Chromecast Windows Media Player on TV?
Step1: Plugin your Chromecast device to your TV’s HDMI port.
Step2: Provide the same Wi-Fi connection to your Chromecast and PC/Laptop.
Step3: Open the Chrome Browser on your PC/Laptop where you launched the Windows Media Player app.
Step4: Now, go to the Menu icon in top-right corner of the screen.
Step5: Tap the Cast icon.
Step6: This will search for the available devices to cast.
Step7: Now, click the Source button.
Step8: In the dropdown, click the Cast Desktop option.
Step9: Now, choose your Chromecast-connected device from the list.
Step10: The popup of casting the entire screen appears.
Step11: Now, click on the screen and tap the Share option.
Step12: Now your Windows screen will be cast on your Chromecast TV.
Step13: Open the Windows Media Player app.
Step14: Click on the audio file/video file you wish to play.
Step15: The media file you chose will play on your Windows as well as on Chromecast TV.
With the help of Chromecast, the user can cast any media file to its Chromecast TV using Windows Media Player App from your PC/ Laptop.
How to stop casting the Windows Media Player from playing the local media file?
Step1: After playing the media file, tap the Cast extension.
Step2: Now, click your Chromecast-connected device.
Step3: This will stop casting.
